Der Mars auf dem Revers ähnelt auffallend einer kolossalen Marsstatue, die auf dem Nerva-Forum gefunden wurde. Diese Statue, die sich heute in den Capitolinischen Museen befindet, war mit einiger Wahrscheinlichkeit die Vorlage für die Reversdarstellung.
