Auf dieser Münze von Selinunt erscheinen Apollo und Artemis in einem Viergespann, Apollo als Bogenschütze und Artemis als Wagenlenker. Beide sind Schutzgottheiten von Megara, der Mutterstadt von Selinunt. In dieser Funktion treten sie auch in der Kolonie auf.
