Medaille für Heldentum [Medaila Za hrdinstvo] (meist als "Tapferkeitsmedaille" bezeichnet) (1939). Medaille I. Klasse, Anfertigung der staatlichen Münze in Kremnitz, Buntmetall vergoldet, am originalen konfektionierten Band, darauf Auflage, Buntmetall vergoldet und emailliert, an Tragespange mit Nadel. Die dreiklassige (I. bis III. Klasse) Medaille für Heldentum [Medalia Za hrdinstvo] wurde von Staatspräsident Dr. Jozef Tiso (1887-1947, im Amt von 1939 bis 1945) mit Regierungsverordnung 95 vom 8. Mai 1939 gestiftet. Mit der Besetzung der slowakischen Hauptstadt Bratislava [Preßburg] durch die Rote Armee am 4. April 1945 hörte die Slowakische Republik de facto (de iure am 8. Mai 1945) auf zu bestehen, und somit ebenso diese Auszeichnung.
