Een van de 3 hoogst zeldzame biljetten (5 gulden 1846, nr E 1, 10 gulden 1846, nr. D1 en 10 gulden 1849, nr. D1) die tegelijkertijd in november 2001 aangekocht zijn van William Barrett, Canada → Spink mei 1980 (Marquess of the Bute / Pflumer) → Pflumer verkocht aan Marquess of the Bute in 1926 → waarschijnlijk afkomstig van Scharonn 1872 en in 1875 verkocht aan Pflumer →  Mogelijk een afscheidscadeau aan de minister van financiën van Hall gezien het feit dat 2 van de biljetten niet gecirculeerd hebben en het biljet 1849 evenals de andere 2 biljetten het nummer 1 draagt.

One of 3 extremely rare notes (5 guilders 1846, no. E 1, 10 guilders 1846, no. D1 and 10 guilders 1849, no. D1) purchased simultaneously in November 2001 from William Barrett, Canada → Spink May 1980 (Marquess of the Bute / Pflumer) → Pflumer sold to Marquess of the Bute in 1926 → probably from Scharonn 1872 and sold to Pflumer in 1875 → Possibly a farewell gift to the Minister of Finance Van Hall given the fact that 2 of the notes did not circulate and the 1849 note, like the other 2 notes, bears the number 1.
