Die Frauengestalt auf dem Avers wurde traditionell als Amazone interpretiert, doch ist diese Interpretation fraglich. Es kann sich auch um eine Göttin handeln - möglicherweise um Ishtar/Shawushka. Zur Diskussion siehe Müseler, S. 89 ff.
