AV-Medaillon zu 1 1/2 Solidi, 324, Nicomedia; 6,79 g. D N CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG Drapierte Büste r. mit Lorbeerkranz//VIRTVS AVG ET - CAESS NN Constantinus steht l. mit Vexillum und errichtet Trophäe, unter der zwei Gefangene sitzen, im Abschnitt: SMN. RIC -, zum Revers siehe 57.
Von allergrößter Seltenheit. Vorzüglich
Exemplar der Auktion NAC 92, Zürich 2016, Nr. 689 und der Auktion Jacquier 48, Kehl am Rhein 2020, Nr. 523.
Dieser Revers war bisher nur mit einem Avers des Constantinus II. Caesar bekannt (RIC 57). Ein zweites, stempelgleiches Exemplar dieses Typs wurde 2016 in unserer Auktion 273 unter Losnummer 938 versteigert.
