Unter Nero konnten die Türen des Janustempels in Rom geschlossen werden, d. h., es herrschte Frieden. Schwierig ist die Datierung dieses Ereignisses: nach dem Zeugnis der Münzen geschah es im Jahre 64, nach Sueton im Jahre 66.
