B.H. Mayer (1843-1911) gründete seine Kunstprägeanstalt 1871 in Pforzheim. Fortan stellte das Unternehmen Medaillen, Orden, Plaketten und auch Schmuck her und blieb bis 1998 in Familienbesitz. Unter dem neuen Namen "B.H. Mayer’s IdentitySign" werden auch heute noch hochwertige Sammlerprodukte gefertigt.
