Kurt Jaeger schreibt zu dieser Münze: Von 1.000 Stück sollen 500 Stück amtlich wieder eingeschmolzen worden sein. Ein Restposten von etwa 150 Stück fiel dem Brand der Stuttgarter Münze im März 1944 zum Opfer. Es sind also nur noch rund 350 Stück übrig geblieben.
